I just dont understand why people that look down on tattoo’s have to come into the “Tattoo” catagory and judge. Can some one answer this for me? Just because we have tattoo’s does NOT mean we have been in jail, dirty, tramp, loser, etc etc. How many times do we have to answer the same questions “why do you have tattoos” “how many and why”. I have tattoos because they are an outward show of my inner personality, they do not define who I am they only clarify what is already there.. Body ink is sexy, it makes a person stand out in a crowd (unless your at a tattoo convention, LOL). So once again: why are non-inked people so judgemental? You dont like my ink, dont look at it, and by all means DONT comment on it.

i was wondering if anyone could tell me some info about tattoo conventions …i prefer answers from people who have been before…im mostly wondering how the price ranges are..i know that these tattooists are renowned for their art, do they charge more because their famous artists, any discounts because its a expo??…i don’t know..anyone that does feel free to answer..
I am getting a tattoo right below my navel. It’s about 5 inches long and will stop right above my…well you get the picture. I have 5 tattoos already. However, this is the first one that interferes with wearing clothes. I go in to talk to my tattoo artist Monday, but would like answers now so I can make an appropriate appointment time. It might be impossible to wear my pants lower than the tat or higher than the tat. I will NOT wear jeans. But…my question is…will it be ok to wear loose pants? (stretch pants/sweatpants) I can’t get an appointment on a Friday because she will be gone for a month on tattoo conventions. Not sure if I can get it done on a Tuesday and have it be not just ok, but good, while I work in loose pants for the rest of the week. Any experiences/advice someone can share? Thanks!
To start off I am a 21 yr old white guy. I have one tat only. I have a tattoo that i got without really any thought. I was 15 and very impulsive. I saw a tattoo parlor and had just watched a special on tattoo conventions on tv. I decided that it was cool just to walk in and get one so thats what i did. I just looked around the walls for ideas and found a quote.
My tattoo reads:

It is about 3×4 inches in Olde English writing. I liked it when i got it but now im really self conscious about it. This is due in large part to me being prob the first one in my high school of 2000 to get one so i faced a lot of ridicule. Also I didnt know it went against my religion to get tattoos so my fam has also given me **** about it. However the few people that have seen it in the past 2 years my age have liked it and I actually inspired two kids to get a tattoo. What do you guys think is it lame or pretty cool to where i shouldnt care to remove it. It is not stretched or anything and looks great. I was also thinking of getting more tats that are more artistic so that i dont just have one that stands out…. What do you guys think i should do…LEAVE IT, REMOVE IT, GET MORE or WHATEVER ELSE YOU CAN SUGGEST
