I have a tattoo that I want covered up, and I was looking for a great cover up artist, I know the tattoo convention will be in my town in Toronto In June, what should I expect are the artists already booked? do you just line up, what is the best time to get one of them, I assume they would be tried near the end
thanks
I went to the Philadelphia Tattoo Convention yesterday and saw a lot of great art work, mostly watercolor paintings done by the tattoo artists there. Does anyone know of a site as to where I can find this type of art. I’m particularly interested in traditional tattoo art paintings/drawings.
Thanks for your help
i am planning on going to the Manchester tattoo convention in March, i was wondering if you can get tattoos there or is it just to look at work?
and if u cant get tattoos there can u talk to the artists and get advice on tattoo’s and then maybe book with them for work at their parlour?
would be grateful for any ino, thanks
I have been planning a tattoo in memory of my parents for a while now and i am thinking of getting it done at the upcoming tattoo convention in Sept. It will be 3 carnations with an italian phrase underneath that will be placed on the left side (pec) of my chest. It will be black and grey with white shading. I thought about the convention as this will be an opportunity to get tattooed by a quality artist whom i may not normally have access to (distance etc). I was wondering:
1. How much can i expect one of the artists to charge me for that piece (i realise it will just be an estimate)
2. Will they be too busy doing big, more ‘traditional’ tattoos to want to do mine while they are here?
3. Any recommendations re which artist i should go to at the convention to get this done?
Thanks
From what I can tell from responses to an early question quite a few of you have qualms about being tattooed at home. What about getting tattooed at a convention….Dozens of artists from around the country….your chance to get inked by artists that you normally wouldn’t have excess too……do you do it? and if not, why not?
